Reading YMCA FC Pitch Repairs:

UPDATE: 30th December.
Turf repairs all in, and was able to give a first cut since the repairs. Still needs some times to bed in but looking much better.

On Monday, 24th November, our football pitch and the adjacent fence were subjected to severe vandalism. This act resulted in considerable damage to the fence, the playing surface, and one of the goals. The individual responsible for this incident was identified at the scene, and a criminal investigation is currently underway. We will not be making any further comment on the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The club reached out to the Foundation requesting help with funding repairs, and we were able to provide 50% of the total cost of the pitch repairs.
